Located in the charming village of Hindon, The Grosvenor Arms is surrounded by rolling countryside and beautiful walking routes. It’s the perfect base for a dog-friendly break in Wiltshire, whether you’re planning long rural walks, a weekend away, or a relaxing overnight stay with your dog.

Dog Stay Guidelines

To keep our inns enjoyable for everyone, we ask guests travelling with dogs to follow a few simple guidelines:

• Dogs are only permitted in designated dog-friendly rooms – please enquire with us directly regarding their availability before booking
• Dogs must be well behaved and house trained
• Maximum two dogs per room
• Dogs should not be allowed on beds or soft furnishings
• Dogs cannot be left alone in bedrooms

There is a £20 charge per dog per night.

We offer blankets and bowls as part of your welcome pack. If the blankets or bowls are taken home, a £50 replacement charge may apply.

Wilson collects passing phrases the old-fashioned way — in a small notepad, gathered from conversations overheard in pubs. Later, these fragments find new life as quietly observant pieces of art. “Pubs are the glue that hold a community together,” he says. Going against the stereotype, Wilson’s an Irishman who loves the pub. He’s always keen for a chat, you might even end up on his next piece. X
