You’ll find old classics sitting pride of place on our menu, like our wonderfully large handmade pies, as well as locally sourced fish – be it from Brixham or local rivers – and we’ll always have a vegan or vegetarian dish too. We aren’t into micro herbs and fussy plates, our food is hearty, interesting and delicious; we keep things simple and do them well.

Yes, he’s outrageously handsome - but that’s just the bonus. Jules is one of the heartbeats of the boozer, and a huge part of what gives our village pub its charm, warmth, and proper pub atmosphere. And in our beloved old building, where something always seems to need fixing, Jules is the man already reaching for his toolkit. We’d be lost without him. Thank you Jules. X
